Description
Why?
The last_modified date can give site visitors and search engines an indication of when your post was last updated. This may help with search engine rankings.
Note: this is a very high-level project that’s technically beneficial to everyone, but may only be cost effective for bloggers that are generating disposable income and are limited on time.
What’s included?
You’ll provide us with 10 posts you want updated, and we’ll update each post with a link to another one of the posts. This will:
- Create better internal linking between your posts
- Refresh your content
- Update the “last modified” post-info
You’ll need to create a new admin account for us, which you’ll delete after the project is complete. You’ll receive confirmation that all 10 posts you submitted were updated.
Which Posts should I Focus On?
We recommend focusing on high-value pages: pages that are receiving the most search engine traffic. You can check this in your Google Webmaster Tools.
We recommend refreshing posts once per year, so that the last-modified year always matches the current year (eg. posts should be updated for 2019, in 2019).
