These pages typically don't earn any meaningful revenue for the simple fact that people looking for recipes are not in buying mode.

Information-intent traffic (recipes) are entirely different from purchase intent traffic.

If you're still set on making a shop/recommended product page, we recommend building it simply with core WordPress:

  • columns
  • images
  • links

Make sure to upload your images at the same resolution (recommended: 1200x1200), and insert at a corresponding thumbnail size for the number of columns you're using.
