The "layout" of a site refers to the overall page structure.
The Feast setup supports two content layouts:
- Full width
- Content + Sidebar
The default layout is content + sidebar and is used across the entire site.
Full width
The full width layout is 1200px wide.
The full width layout is generally not recommended, because the sidebar provides important side-wide internal linking, and ad slots. Only the homepage and dedicated landing pages are exempt from this guideline.
It can be customized via the Feast Plugin Settings Layouts section, though any changes are not supported.
Content + Sidebar
The default layout is a 720px content width and 300px sidebar.
See this tutorial for the Modern Sidebar.

Categories
The Modern Categories actually supports a third option: Category Custom Content above the normal content + sidebar.
Outdated layouts
Previous versions of the theme supported other layouts, which have since been deprecated due to low usage and lack of tangible benefits.
Feast Layouts
The Feast Layouts are key sections built with the block editor instead of the old, outdated widget interface. No part of the Feast setup uses widgets anymore.
Feast Layouts are not public pages themselves, instead, they're components that are integrated into other areas of the site.
