Note that this is unnecessary if you're running the Feast Plugin with the Remove Entry-Meta from post footer set up. The plugin is preferable to this theme setting, because it will be saved between theme changes and updates.
The Entry-Meta (below content) customizer setting introduced in Genesis 3.2.0 allows you to edit the area that displays links to the categories and tags assigned to that post.
In our experience, this is almost never done properly by food bloggers and almost never useful for visitors. This is why we recommend removing the Entry Meta (below content) in Genesis 3.2.0+
This leads to diluted internal link equity, as well as wasted crawl budget by search engines, who spend time index'ing low quality pages instead of your actual posts. For a primer on this topic, see: should I remove content?
Because of this, we recommend deleting the content of this setting entirely so that the categories and tags are not automatically output at the end of the post.
How can I use this effectively?
This setting can be re-introduced only after careful and intentional thought is put into their design, preferably under the guidance of an SEO expert.
