Customization support is not built into our pricing, and is not offered with our themes.
Our themes are built with best practices built in, based on feedback from thousands of users and input from experts in SEO, pagespeed, accessibility and server performance.
When you start changing the default setup, you're creating a custom theme without the necessary experience to identify accessibility, SEO, pagespeed and user experience issues.
While there is room for customization, this requires guidance by experienced designers + developers. There are very, very few companies that are qualified to do this, and they charge $5,000+ minimum per project.

Why is accessibility important?
Food blogging is competitive and you can't simply choose any font/background color (accessibility contrast issues) or font sizes (Google-issued mobile warnings).
Customizer
Different themes have historically had different levels of options/settings built into the WordPress customizer. While this provided a minimal level of customization, it only ever covered a fraction of what users wanted to do, and as such, always required further edits with code and CSS.
The customizer has seen major issues with consistency over the years, and is changing once again as WordPress evolves to a block-editor based setup. Because of this, we're dropping all support for the customizer.
Other theme providers continue to provide poor thought out, and outdated settings in their customizer.
We believe this is a mistake.
Over thousands of installations and many more thousands of support tickets, we've seen the negative consequences that easy-to-implement customizer settings have had, creating complex and unseen consequences.
Feast+
Feast+ is our add-on service that provides some level of customizations, built in a way that complies with the various requirements - see the Feast+ page for full details.
