Animations are known to cause issues with CSS and JS optimization plugins, such as WP Rocket.
They can negatively impact Core Web Vitals because of the issues with pagespeed optimization plugins.
They also need to be designed in a way that respects the prefers-reduced-motion directive for sensitive individuals.
While we're not against animations, we've removed them from our base setup to avoid these pitfalls, and don't offer support for it.
If you're going to add animations, we recommend working with an experienced developer to ensure they comply with web standards, are compatible with your individual caching setup, and work properly across all devices and browsers.
