    Between everything involved in running a food blog, keeping on top of changing recommendations and configurations is nearly impossible. One of the most frequent requests we get is for help managing the technical side of the food blogging. The stuff that

    With the configurations audit, we're keeping a running tab of recommended settings and configurations (like those in the SEO for food bloggers article) that will help your food blog run as smoothly as possible. When available, we'll also check the settings directly against your database, and the recommend a fix.

    All of this will help ensure that what you don't know that you don't know isn't working against you.

    What to be aware of

    Changing settings can have a knock-on effect on others, because of how intertwined the different aspects of running a website are. We always recommend working on a staging site first, and ensuring your host has at least daily backups. See our list of recommended hosting companies.
