Feast does not support WordPress Multisite configurations. This decision is due to:
- lack of interest from a large enough percentage of our target user base
- conflicts and technical issues from multisite configurations
- an absence of successful content sites using multisite
Our experience in dealing with thousands of customers is that multisite setups are primarily used by franchises, spam sites, and unrelated niches. We simply do not see any successful sites using multisite configurations, leading us to believe that multisite setups are negatively correlated with success in the content site space.
Deciding to not support multisite so that we can focus our efforts on our core user base, means that we're able to specialize in single-site setups for content sites. This lets us build an overall better user experience for the 99.9% of the market that is single site.
Customers wishing to start a second site should create a second single-site on it's own hosting account. Many hosting companies (eg. BigScoots) supporting adding a second site without multisite configuration.
