Black Foodies

Due to feedback from our customers that they'd like to connect with more black food blogs, we're putting together a list of recipe sites operated by black entrepeneurs.

More than just sharing a post on social media, we have the opportunity to be more proactively inclusive.

More than just acknowledging the fact that there's something wrong in our culture and blaming others, we can form a supportive community.

There's a number of ways you can support these efforts, including:

  • following on social media
  • engaging with social content
  • commenting on recipes on sites - ask questions about things you're unclear on!
  • buy cookbooks!
  • after buying the cookbooks, try making the recipes and linking back to the author's site or original recipe
  • even without a cookbook - try some new recipes and link back to the original author! tag them in your social media promotions for the recipe and cross-promote to your audience

    1. I'll leave this as a comment but won't add it to the list above, which is for recipe sites rather than social accounts.
